The San Bruno Chamber of Commerce was organized in 1942 with the mission to benefit the business community and to promote and enhance the economic growth and vitality of San Bruno businesses. The Chamber takes pride in its service to the community by providing economic opportunities, influencing public policy and advancing the welfare of its membership. The business climate is strengthened by education and discussion of the needs of local businesses, and current issues which may have a negative or positive effect on businesses.
The San Bruno Chamber is responsible for the 2 hour parking extension on San Mateo Avenue. The Avenue Alliance, where downtown business voices can be heard was generated from the San Bruno Chamber. The Chamber is also responsible for great community events such as: Taste of San Bruno, Business Expo, Networking Mixers and of course the Downtown Farmer’s Market the community is able to enjoy on Sunday’s.

Jamie Monozon – CEO
Jamie Monozon is the Chief Executive Officer of the San Bruno Chamber of Commerce. Jamie has 27 years of entrepreneurial business leadership experience from owning her own business while working her way through college to being recruited to work for a large title company in 1991 which began her long corporate career. She started in customer service for a fortune 500 company and was quickly promoted to sales and management and ultimately County Manager and Executive Vice President. Having worked her way up the corporate ladder and trying to balance education with a demanding job, the community college atmosphere served her well as she climbed. Jamie has always been interested in helping others and has strong philanthropic ties. Her community involvement spans over 23 years of service with several non-profit organizations such as the SAMCAR Foundation, Shelter Network, Pop Warner, Rotary Club International and Relay for life. She is currently a member of the President’s Council of Skyline College, Measure A Oversight Committee for San Mateo County, participated in the CSBA Small Business Advisory Council for Assembly Member Mullin and continues to support ways to improve our communities both locally and nationally. Jamie loves to travel and enjoys trips to Lake Tahoe, Giants games, entertaining and spending time with her family. She and her husband Brian are happily raising 2 children in San Bruno.
Kirsten Pinochi - Recology San Bruno - Board President
Kirsten Pinochi is the General Manager for Recology San Bruno. Recology San Bruno provides garbage and recycling services to the residents and commercial businesses in San Bruno. Kirsten received her AA from Skyline College and from there graduated from San Francisco State University with her BS in Business Administration with a focus in Management. She has worked in a management capacity with large corporations, like Citibank and Oracle. She is on the Board of Directors with the San Bruno Chamber of Commerce and is a proud member of the San Bruno Rotary Club. Kirsten was born and raised in San Bruno. She is raising her family in San Bruno with her husband David. She enjoys spending time in Clear Lake, scrapbooking and spending as much time with her kids as possible.
Gwen Daly - Adecco
Gwen Daly is the Director of Sales for Adecco staffing, and has been in the sales and staffing industry for 18 years. Adecco has been a member of the San Bruno Chamber of Commerce for 26 years. Gwen has helped the Chamber tremendously with the 2011-12 Business Directory and Community Guide, and is reaching out to businesses so they may promote themselves in the 2014 – 15 edition. She brings to the table incredible networking skills honed over a rich career and has always been involved in The Chambers of Commerce throughout the Bay Area. She promotes San Bruno Chamber of Commerce in her travels. Gwen has served on the board of the San Bruno Mothers’ Club and is a member of the Coyote Point Yacht Club. She participates and organizes events there and loves sailing. Gwen is also on Children Health Council [CHC] outreach committee in Palo Alto. She enjoys supporting our community and city. Gwen resides in San Bruno with her husband and daughter.
Scott Hart-PG&E
Scott is the Government Relations Representative for Pacific Gas and Electric Company in the Bay Area and is one of the newest Board members
Gina Mathers – Walmart.com
Gina Mathers is currently the Senior Manger of Site Merchandising Operations team at Walmart.com. Gina was raised in San Bruno and is a product of the San Bruno public school system; attended and graduated from Rollingwood Elementary, Parkside Junior High and Capuchino High School (1987.) She later attended College of San Mateo and earned an A.A. degree in Business Management and then continued on to California State University, Hayward and completed her B.A. in Mass Communication.
Currently employed at Walmart.com within the Site Merchandising team in San Bruno, Gina is on two committees within the organization – the Community Involvement Committee and the Women’s Resource Council. Gina currently serves on the San Bruno Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors. Prior to Walmart, Gina has worked at CBS Interactive (formerly CNET Networks), Women.com, Ziff-Davis Publishing and completed an internship with the San Francisco Giants.
With interest in raising her family in San Bruno and providing a similar upbringing, Gina and her husband (Michael) moved to San Bruno and purchased their home in 2000 where they currently live with their two boys. In her spare time she is an active member of her son’s elementary school PTO and enjoys running and competing in half-marathons and 10k races
Jim O’Dowd – O’Dowd Plumbing
Jim is the award winning founder and owner of O’Dowd Plumbing in San Bruno. Originally established in Europe in 1937, they relocated to the Bay Area in 1986 and have been serving the area since.
Robert Riechel – Community Member at Large
Robert Riechel is retired from both computer support and government contract administration. He lives in San Bruno with his wife Pam. Robert currently serves on the San Bruno Chamber Board of Directors. He is and has been involved in the day to day operations of the Chamber’s Farmers Market the past year and a half and is working to bring the Sunday market back to San Mateo Avenue. In his spare time he also serves as the City of San Bruno’s representative to the San Mateo County Mosquito & Vector Control District, a position he has held for 8 years; he also serves as chair of the City’s Citizens Crime Prevention Committee, and has served on other City committees. Robert likes to garden, however the San Bruno weather seems to have other ideas. Robert just completed serving on the planning committee for the American Cancer Society’s Relay For Life San Bruno.

Vincent is the store director of Mollie Stone’s, San Bruno.
