· Assist with “Welcome Committee” functions

Newsletter
· Providing articles or information
· Edit articles and/or newsletter
· Sell advertising or sponsorships of newsletter

Website
· Help with website updates; either with information or tech assistance
· Sell advertising for website

Welcome
· Prepare “welcome baskets” for new members
· Help organize Chamber member “Welcome Breakfast”
· Deliver welcome baskets to new members

Fundraising
· Help coordinate and promote fundraisers
· Solicit for sponsorships and/or donations for events
· Help committee find new fundraising ideas

Events

Business Expo: Provides an opportunity for businesses to promote their wares/services to the public.

Autumn Fest: Annual community based “day in the park” with old-fashioned fun, games & music. Next Autumn Fest is scheduled for October 7, 2006.

Sidewalk Sale: We may hold several throughout the year along “The Avenue”

Membership Drive: Annual event, designed to bring in new members.

Blood Drive: The Blood Bank of The Pacific sets up a trailer for community & chamber members to stop by and donate blood. The next Blood Drive is scheduled for February, 2006.
