Taste of San Bruno 2017

This October we had a fantastic turn out for our 10th Annual Taste of San Bruno!

Held in the San Bruno Recreation Center, we had a Happy Hour kick off at 4 pm, enjoying refreshments and appetizers from our various local restaurants. Our CEO, Jamie Monozon, greeted everyone with a warm welcome and refreshing beverage.

Outside, our very own Capuchino Marching Band livened up the party while we feasted on Taqueria Leon Tacos! “I really enjoyed that Happy Hour! The tacos & margaritas were fantastic and the live band playing was great!”

The adults had margaritas while the children enjoyed our local balloon dispenser, both enjoying the setting sun on the beautiful fall colors.

After 6 pm, we moved into a full culinary experience as all around the room each of our vendors had a savory bite to taste.

Many of our attendees elected for the full combined ticket to the Taste, and by doing so they were able to enjoy the all you can eat feast, a complimentary margarita during Happy Hour, and raffle tickets to get them started with the nights events.

“I was invited by my friend and had no idea what it was about, I’m so glad I came”

Circling around the room we had quite a variety of local cuisines ranging from the Mexican grill to Pakistani plates and Philippine delights!

While the orchestra serenaded us inside, we were gorging ourselves on the delicious foods set up in separate tables all around the Recreation Center.

“The food was wonderful! I had no idea that San Bruno had so much variety”

The Taste of San Bruno is about celebrating the local restaurants and businesses that surround us everyday!

“I’ll be coming back next year, for sure!”

We hope that our lovely representatives at this 10th Annual Taste, feel welcome and appreciated in this community that they have been serving faithfully all year!
